Prišel je 14. december in čas odhoda je bil tu, a ko ti dan prej nenadoma umre muc, ki nas je spremljal zadnjih 11 let, ko daš bolnega otroka v varstvo babici, ki jo taisto noč lažji srčni infarkt spravi na urgenco, ko zjutraj ne vžge avto, se resnično vprašaš ali je sploh lahko še hujše?! Je v takih trenutkih vredno vztrajati, verjeti v srečen konec in kot pravi profesionalec oddelati kar je treba?!
A moč optimizma je neizmerna in ko sva popoldne požirala avtocestne kilometre proti Milanu, ter zaskrbljena čakala kako se bo norošnica doma iztekla, so iz domovine prišle spodbudnejše novice. Z mamo ni bilo nič hujšega, ostali sorodniki so poskrbeli, da je bila najina Klara v dobrih rokah in sonce nad Milanom je postajalo vse lepše.
Spotoma sva se ustavila še na "Lake Como", kjer sem si na hitro ogledal nekaj hotelov in povprašal za informacije, ki jih potrebujemo, za "workshop", ki bo letos septembra. Naj ob priliki omenim, da skupaj z Davidom Becksteadom, in Mikeom Colonom pripravljamo, totalno hud "workshop" za poročne fotografe, a več o temu, ko bo več znanega.
No in tako sva pozno popoldne po slabih 7-ih urah vožnje srečno prispela v zimsko obarvani in nadvse spokojni Sils-Engadin. To je vas-mestece nekaj kilometrov pred St. Moritzem.
Popoldansko sonce se je že skrivalo za gore in pogled iz avta na zasneženo in poledenelo pokrajino je obljubljal peklenski mraz.
Year 2007 is behind us and for the end of the season another "dream" wedding should happen. Tanja and Martin, both from Switzerland, and both temporarily working in Singapur, choose us to be their wedding photographer. I am proud of that, because I know that, they did get a lot of other offers from other photographers. So I will take a chance and espacily thank to my Swicherland photo-friend Fides, who gave me the contact to Tanja. I dont know, why, but I just feel, from the first contact with Tanja, that I will photograph this wedding.
And so 14. December come and it was time to leave for St. Moritz, but when a day before suddenly your Cat dies (he was a member of our family for 11 years), when you give your sick child to grandmother and when your grandma, gets a heart attack on same night, and when your car doesn't wont to start at the morning......than you really start to ask yourself "can it be even worst?" Is it worth to insist and believe in happy end and do your job as a professional should do?!
But the power of positive thinking is endless, and when we drive over Italian highway, and scary waited for some news, the phone ringed and news from home were good. My Mom was already at home (luckily nothing serious), Klara was ok with other relatives and the sun over Milano started to be more and more beautifull.
On the way to St. Moritz, we also stopped in Lake Como, where I did a little research for a appropriate hotel, for the workshop, that I am helping to organize in September this year. Have I mentioned that there is going to be a great wedding photography workshop by David Beckstead, Mike Colon & me in September on Lake Como....more news when I will know more.
So after a little less than 7 hours drive, we happily arrived to winter Sils-Engadin. This is a small village, few kilometers before St. Moritz. The afternoon soon, already started to disappear behind the hills and the view from the car over the snow and freeze landscape was promising a total coldness .

Ko sva se namestila, sta naju Tanja in Martin povabila na spoznavno večerjo...
After we settled up, Tanja & Martin invited us to dinner...
Kmalu je postalo jasno da sta Tanja in Martin nadvse prijetna in simpatična človeka in hitro je postalo očitno, da se v Tanji skriva nekaj Italijanske krvi...
Soon it was clear to me, that Tanja & Martin are very nice and fine people, and I quickly realized that there is some Italian blood in Tanja...
Ker prej ni bilo časa, so bile plesne urice kar po večerji...

Najina prva Evangeličanska poroka...brez zamere, ampak stokrat bolj pristno, pravo in človeško, kot klasična Krščanska poroka... zanimivo, takšna razlika, a skoraj isti nauk....
